Comfort without an uncomfortable draught

Salons and treatment rooms need steady comfort for clients who may remain still for long periods, while staff, lighting and treatment equipment can add significant heat. Climetech assesses the room, occupancy and heat-producing equipment before selecting the capacity and position.

Air distribution matters as much as nominal output. Indoor units should provide useful coverage without blowing directly across treatment couches, styling stations, waiting areas or staff work positions.

Quiet, controllable heating and cooling

Modern air conditioning can cool during warm weather and provide fast, controllable heating in colder months. Quiet operation and sensible controller positions are important in treatment spaces and customer-facing rooms.

Individual systems can serve one room, while multi-split or multi-zone equipment may suit premises with separate treatment, reception and staff areas. The survey compares the practical routes and serviceability before a system is recommended.

Neat installation around a finished business

The survey covers indoor and outdoor positions, pipework, external trunking, condensate drainage, electrical requirements and safe future access. Existing décor, mirrors, cabinetry, signage and client areas are considered when agreeing the visible finish.

Climetech protects the work area, commissions the system and explains the controls and maintenance requirements at handover.

Replacement and ongoing maintenance

Ageing or unreliable equipment can be assessed for repair or replacement. Where a repair is sensible and parts are available, it can be quoted. Where the equipment is obsolete or the repair would be poor value, Climetech will explain why and provide a replacement option.

Regular servicing supports airflow, drainage, performance and reliability in busy premises. Filter and coil condition can need closer attention where products, dust or high daily occupancy affect the indoor unit.

Frequently asked questions

Where should an air-conditioning unit be positioned?

The position should distribute air effectively without creating an uncomfortable direct draught over clients, staff or treatment areas. The survey also considers pipe routes, drainage and maintenance access.

Can air conditioning heat a salon in winter?

Yes. Modern reverse-cycle air conditioning can provide controllable heating as well as cooling. The required capacity depends on room heat loss, glazing, occupancy and operating conditions.

Can Climetech replace an old salon air-conditioning unit?

Yes. Existing equipment can be assessed and replacement options quoted where repair is not practical or economical.
